unconditional love is without a catch, without expectations.
an unconditional lover does not think of his feelings first... he thinks of those he loves.
unconditional lovers are wounded easily because they do not protect themselves with walls.
unconditional love does not expect gratitude, love, or acceptance in return.
unconditional lovers love because they know how much they are loved by the Unconditional Lover (God) even though they can never return that kind of love.
unconditional love reproduces itself by doing nothing but loving.
i want to be one of these lovers.

Trust

I am like a German Shepherd trained on a short leash. Soon the the Master trusts me, his growing companion, enough to for a longer leash. The puppy has the freedom to stray a little, and the Master disciplines him gently. The Master and his companion become best of friends and the young man stays right beside the his Alpha Leader. As the young dog learns obedience the leash is soon taken off. The maturing dog now thinks of his Master before himself. Although given the freedom to roam, I will be by His side.

The Land of Peace
I desire to dwell in the land called Peace...
the place where the rolling hills are made of hope,
where the air is a tangible substance called faith,
a land where Your essence waters my heart,
where trust causes the fruit to grow.
I desire to not simply visit the land of Peace every once in a while... I want to live here.
But when I begin to explore this new land I constantly find uncharted places... dark scary places... places that need Peace.
On every boarder of the land of Peace their are armies waiting to disrupt and plunder.
Their are raiding parties that come to steal, kill, and destroy.
The Keeper of the Peace is a Man of War.
He laughs in the face of His enemies keeping them away.
He expands Peace every time the land is attacked.
Nothing surprises Him... nothing catches this Mighty Man off guard.
He is the Maker of Peace... but not the kind you think... He uses the sword.
Men of Peace often are forced to bring war.
